With 90% of big fish populations depleted, and 50% of coral reefs destroyed, we are taking more from the ocean than can be replenished. Tuesday 4 June 2024 Year 5 at the Wallace Collection Year 5 visited the Wallace Collection to learn more about Greek Myths and created their own mythical and Greek god-inspired piece of art.

Monday 3 June 2024 TfL Travel for Life awards Congratulations to our TfL Explorer Ambassadors: our school was highly commended in the Best Campaign award at the TfL Travel for Life Top School Awards!

Sunday 2 June 2024 UEFA Champions League Festival Year 4 were invited to join the Champions League Festival - four days of football-related entertainment (30th May-2nd June). This meant use of a football pitch at Somerset House!

Thursday 23 May 2024 London Fo Guang Shan Temple Yesterday Year 6 visited a Buddhist temple. Despite being based behind Oxford Street, it was a very peaceful and tranquil place to visit to learn more about Buddhism.

Friday 15 March 2024 Meeting Mary Seacole As part of Year 1’s History topic, the children have been learning about Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale. The children participated in a Mary Seacole workshop; they were able to learn more about her life and how she has influenced the world of medicine.

Thursday 14 March 2024 How does Northala Fields improve the lives of local people? Year 4 visited Northala Fields as part of their Geography learning. They surveyed the use of the area and spoke with Mr Nye, the park manager, about the uses of the park.

Tuesday 19 December 2023 Our trip to the Panto Undeterred by the rain, which flowed in abundance from the sky, we were determined to have a good time. Our trip to the theatre began with a trip on two different buses, as the Beck Theatre, although not far away, was tricky to get to. We were delighted once we arrived.

Thursday 23 November 2023 Founder's Day 2024 Today we celebrated Founder’s Day, starting with an excellent presentation about Edward Betham from 3AD. 3AD told us about Edward Betham's vision: that education should be a right, not a privilege for the rich and well-to-do.

Thursday 9 November 2023 Get Creative for Climate Justice Pupils across the school worked on a project called Creative for Climate Justice, using artwork and creativity to explain how they feel about climate justice and its effects.

Tuesday 7 November 2023 Camilla George's visit Camilla George is a famous musician, composer and teacher. Camilla was born in Nigeria and has been interested in music ever since she was young. She especially likes combining African and western music.
